Sixty-one acres of wooded beuaty, and ponds. Entrance to the property crosses a spring creek that runs usually 11 months a year, from Fall till late Summer. Years that have normal or above normal rain it runs year round.
Fishing Ponds The 61 acres has two stocked large fishing ponds. Catfish, large mouth bass, and “pan” fish are the regular catch. I will go out with a small hook and catch and release small mouth bass. The ponds have never been over fished and lots of mature and young fish can be caught. |

On Property Wildlife This is a nature forest type area and we are loaded with critters of the woods. Deer, Raccoons, Possum and Bob Cats all call this woods home. The bob cat is shy and we don’t get the camera up in time to catch them. |
Birds of the forest include woodpeckers, whippoorwills, cardinals, and many others. Winter is a fun time with the cardinals, they look for seed and will pose for pictures. |
Seasons The area gets all four seasons with mostly mild winters. The three most beautiful times of year are sunset of fall and spring, clean covering snow, frozen fog is amazing, and about the third or fourth week of May, the dogwoods bloom. |

Hunting on the Property We are not hunters but if you do, you could hunt from early fall through early winter. As a Bed and Breakfast you could turn his into guest locally, nationally, and even international. Turkey are abundant, I counted no less than twenty in one of the clearings late this summer. White Tail Deer are the most common in our woods. Because the property is more than 60 acres you can get extra farmer/resident tags to harvest an extra deer each season. |
